Change Your Boat’s Oil Efficiently and Reduce the Threat to the Marine Environment!
To prolong the life of the boat, most boat owners go through the tedious task of changing the oil and filter at least once a year. But, changing the boat’s oil can be one of the most daunting tasks for any boat owner as there are possibilities of accidental oil spills, which in turn contribute to marine pollution and lead to Coast Guard fines. To avoid such situations, efficient methods for changing boat oil have to be adopted.
Here are some useful steps that you can follow while changing boat oil:
try lighting a cig now fags

We need to change our behavior, stop consuinmg oil at the scale we are. problem, government does not want us to be able to understand and control our own behaviors. Just like the FCC let corporate TV corrupt 2 generations to create consumers. See “Bad_Behavior=oil”.

Yeah, and you think BP even cares!? No!
Boycott the following products from BP: Castrol, Arco, Aral, AM/PM, Amoco, and Wild Bean Cafe Boykottiert ARAL.
BP = Bad People
@bleibrandpolsky The ultimate responsibility for Government rests with the People. Thats the essence of the democracy since ancient Athens.
maybe you shouldnt dump your engine oil down the storm drain
i’ll wager that it’s directly related to BP’s use of “Corexit”, a highly toxic oil dispersant – which is actually BANNED from use in Britain – that easily transitions into a gaseous state (in hot weather and warm waters), and in that gas forn is absorbed by water vapors and carried up in clouds , which can quickly (by clouds) travel to nearly any part of the Eastern Uniited States , and later be released as a toxic rain – in which there have been more and more similar reports about dying plants!

@spydrworks Wow~ now talk about being civil in a comment thread. Do you kiss your mama with that mouth? You run your lip on my comment, yet will not answer A REAL question, instead you start attacking and then resorting to swearing at me Text style..
Whatever troll..
@jackiebaron how about first pray and then do our job / duty of making a better world. Hope you know earth is not going to live for ever, this is scientifically and astronomically fact, even before our sun explode, earth can be destroyed by meteor or biological disease break out, earth quakes or even war if few countries get in to nuclear or Hbomb war earth what you see will become a bake potato. If human can’t recognize his creator, he or she better call him or herself an animal.
@saadabdulaziz
Two hands working accomplish infinitely more than a thousand hands clasped in prayer.
@loveruleshate Then you should change your name to haterulesme.
@cshook123 Hurt people, no. Just Republican Home-Schooled-inbred, Jesus-Freak Red-Neck, White-Trash Methhead-Cracker, Shit-Kickers.
@loveruleshate I didn’t know it had the ability to take oil into the clouds. Now the clouds are spreading this toxic mess all over the that part of the of the US. Crops & livestock contaminated, the very water table made toxic. Corexit is four times more toxic than oil and mixed with oil the two toxins add their toxic mess together. If you don’t believe me then go swimming in the Gulf for a week straight and then when this Corexit is in your system you will see more clearly.
Guys don’t for get to pray, i know you guys this days don’t believe in God much but God believe on most of us. Absence of proof is not proof of absence. so ask for forgiveness and better future for our children, pray for the right path.
@loveruleshate sorry you asking me question or making an statement?
@SaferChemicals REGULATE! The Republican’s John Boehner: wants a “moratorium” on all-regulations…. I guess he want’s to gather up as much of that free Orange/brown oil slim to save on Coppertone tanning lotion.
Well shortening fries wonderfully but the whole transfat thing has pretty much cancelled that out. The best vegetable oil for frying is peanut–it maintains a good neutral flavor even when raised to pretty high heats.
I always use vegetable oil.
If you use the deep fryer just a few times a week, then you could probably change the oil once every month. It should be fine that way.
I like to deep fry in peanut oil because it can withstand heat better, it doesn’t burn up. If you plan to use it often just keep it covered and when it is dirty throw it out. I would only fry with it about 3 time at the most. And I would only fry the same thing. I would not fry chicken in fish grease and vice versa.
canola oil.
if you cook meat in the oil… throw it out after you use it that day.
if you only fry potatoes , its ok to keep a week. Keep it covered but no need to refrigerate.
why use so much oil? You can use a little and it will still cook just fine.
My uncle got a deep fryer for Christmas and Ibelieve he uses vegetable oil and corn, maybe?Otherwise, I think peanut oil as well. I’m not quite sure. I think he changes the oil each time, unless he’s doing a few things right after the other, so every day he uses it he’ll change it. But his may be a little smaller.
Peanut oil is usually preffered, although vegtable oil can be substituted if one has a peanut allergy or finds the price to be too high. These oils are preffered because of the neurtal flavor and high smoke point.
Depending on what you are frying, I would suggest changing the oil every couple of times you use it, probably every week to a week and a half. Ive found using it anymore than 4-5 times drastically changes the texture of the food.
I prefer peanut oil and have even used olive oil for deep frying. YES…I have even used olive oil. I prefer them solely because I like the taste. You can use any oil you are accustomed to. You can save the oil if you like. If your fryer has a fitted lid that is not attached to the fryer itself…then just keep the oil in the fryer. If your fryer has one of those lids that are connected to the fryer and does not really have a good seal on them…I would transfer the oil to a coffee can or jar of some sort and save to use again. I would say you could easily cycle your oil for 4 to 6 uses after which I would ditch and start with fresh.
I use peanut oil, because if you use that whatever you cooking doesn’t have as many oil bubbles in it or on it. Keep the oil for a couple months, it makes it’s own “seasoning”. when you want to save it you could put it in the frig with tin foil on it. Or you can keep it on your countertop’s sideboard covered.
