Astrological Predictions 2011-2012

Since 2008 I have been repeatedly recommending buying gold and silver. At that time gold was at $ 850 an ounce and silver was at $ 11 an ounce. Gold is now over $ 1400 and silver is over $ 30. If you had bought some in the last year alone you would have made a profit of 62% on your silver and 32% on your gold.

I foresee a long bull market in gold and silver and for those of you who have not yet considered buying some gold and silver and you think it is too expensive, think again. The astrological aspects indicate that the price of gold and silver will still go up considerably. When Uranus goes into Aries in March 2011, this supports a rise in precious metal prices. My predictions for 2011 will be that gold will go to $ 1800 and silver go to $ 50 an ounce. In the longer-term its likely that gold will go to $ 2400 and silver to $ 90.

A big effect will be the changing of Uranus into Aries in March of this year. Expect to see huge rallies in the stock markets. I would not be surprised with Uranus and Jupiter in Aries to see people taking massive risks. We will see ruthless competition, gambling for spectacular short term gains but huge losses through over-speculation and overconfidence. Jupiter in Aries indicates great speculation. Taking risks in the belief that huge profits are not just possible, but likely. Add Uranus into that mix and often prices trade much higher or lower than anyone expects because Uranus breaks boundaries. The possibility of financial bubbles or financial panics should not be underestimated. There will be a great deal of speculation and I would not be surprised to see huge rallies up to around July and August time. In fact the Dow Jones may well hit 13000 in the first half of the year, but decline from August 2011 March 2012. At that point there could be a shift and during the next nine years there is a possibility that stock markets could drop significantly to 90% of their all time highs.

Wherever Jupiter is shows the stock sectors that are likely to increase in value. For part of the year we have Jupiter in Aries and stocks that are ruled by that are weapons, guns, steel, sports. After June when it goes into Taurus, it rules banking, financial institutions, packaging, containers. Those will be the industries one would expect to outperform the market. Wherever Saturn is tends to be sectors that under perform in the market. It is in Libra all year which would rule: cosmetics, jewelry, apparel, the legal profession, sugar, accounting.

With the square aspect of Uranus to Pluto there is the threat of terrorist attacks, cyber wars and nuclear threats. Indeed with Pluto ruling taxes and Capricorn ruling governments and Uranus ruling the internet in Aries, it could be that governments do try to impose taxes and limitations on our freedom on the internet under the guise that it will protect us from possible terrorist activities and conflicts.

With Pluto in Capricorn we will continue to see greater transparency, secrets unearthed, look at Wikileaks, OpenWiki and the power that all these hackers have to bring down the likes of Amazon, PayPal, Visa and MasterCard. We will see the breaking up of structures, the mood of the public will be anti-government, anti-business and anti-banks, just as it was in the Great Depression during the 1930s. Think about all the hackers around the world who have a great deal of power to bring information that has been hidden from the public eye and bringing it out.

Apart from some countries where there are still bubbles, for example in China right now, but for the most part real estate prices will continue to fall. In many countries it has fallen from 10-70% over the last few years, and over 2011 we will see the prices fall even further. The Australian property market is likely to burst this year. We will see countries who have yet been unscathed by the property fallout will start to follow suit. In the US, for the most part it will get worse. There will be pockets around the world where they will maintain their prices, but for the most part we will see property prices plummet, so be very careful before you decide to invest in any real estate this year.

I said we would see unemployment rising. In the US it is at a 26 year high. In the younger age groups unemployment is rising astronomically. For example in the 18-26 age group it is at 50%. I said that we would see more civil unrest and as Uranus goes into Aries in March of this year, we will see unrest in a way that we have not seen before. We are the start of it. Uranus represents the movement of youth the young people are dissatisfied, the young people are asking themselves what future do we have? Tuition fees for universities going up astronomically in the UK is it any wonder they were out revolting?

I said we would see more bailouts we have quantitative easing happening in the US, in Europe, in the UKand in the US, we may well see QE3 happening in the middle of the year if not sooner.

We will see greater taxes property taxes are increasing already, wages are going down, prices of essentials are going up and taxes are going up. In NZ, the authorities are so strapped for cash that they are chasing small amounts of money even $ 20 or $ 30. They are chasing the average person and trying to wipe him out.

With the waning square of Pluto to Uranus we will see more dissatisfaction because people are feeling more and more restricted and many are saying to themselves what do I have to lose? I may as well go all out and fight for what I want now.

I predicted that government leaders would get voted in and out of office. Look at what happened in Australia where Kevin Rudd was voted out after only a year by his own party. In the mid-term elections in the US there was a sweeping turn of events and a change of the balance of power. During the Great Depression there was a powerful shift in the political direction of the USA and Germany. In the USA it was the new era of Franklin D Roosevelt and the rise of Nazism in Germany. In 2010 it was the Tea Party movement that turned the mid-term elections in the USA on its head, bringing about one of the most sweeping changes in legislative control in 70 years. Another financial crisis is likely in the next 3-4 years.

I predicted more natural disasters than ever before and in 2010 there was a massive earthquake in Christchurch, New Zealand and the seismologists were unaware of a fault in that region. There are have been hundreds of aftershocks in the ensuing months causing more damage to properties and infrastructure. In Queensland, Australia there is huge flooding with many parts of Brisbane being evacuated with the potential for more rains to come. Since January 2010 we have seen over 300,000 killed in Latin America alone due to natural disasters. With Pluto in hard aspect to Uranus there will be more and more disasters from earthquakes, volcanoes erupting and tsunamis unfolding around the world.

Neptune changes sign briefly this year and properly in February of 2012. It comes into its own sign of Pisces. I predict that we will see a lot more flooding. We are already seeing it in Australia right now. I predict that we will see towns and even cities just disappearing in the twinkling of an eye.

With Neptune in Pisces we will probably see a water crisis, a proliferation of water borne diseases, issues around drugs and pharmaceuticals. We will also have a parallel universe going on. On the one hand there will be all this fighting and revolting and people being very with the Uranus and Pluto square and then on the other hand we have Neptune going into Pisces. This brings about groups of people and parts of society who will live on a completely different plane. They are not looking at any of the strife. They withdraw from society and they want a simpler, easier life. They might live in communities, retreat into nature and be with other people who have similar ideals. We will see people who will want more leisure, more pleasure and less stress. They will be opting out from the mainstream.

By knowing about these impending changes, whats likely to happen politically and economically, you can make some informed choices in advance because these are cycles that repeat themselves. 2012 is sometimes claimed to be a great year of spiritual transformation (or apocalypse). Many esoteric sources interpret the completion of the thirteenth B’ak’tun cycle in the Long Count of the Maya calendar (which occurs on December 21 by the most widely held correlation) to mean there will be a major change in world order.

Accordingly, several eclectic authors claim that a major, world-changing event will take place in 2012:

The 1995 book The Mayan Prophecies linked the Maya calendar with long-period sunspot cycles.
The book 2012: Mayan Year of Destiny claims the Maya may have been instructed in their wisdom by discarnate entities from Orion and the Pleiades. Contact was maintained through shamanic rituals conducted in accordance with the movements of planets and stars. However, some Mayan priests living and working in Guatemala assert that there is no legitimacy to this theory.
The 1997 book The Bible Code claims that, according to certain algorithms of the Bible code, a meteor, asteroid or comet will collide with the Earth.
The book The Nostradamus Code speaks of a series of natural disasters caused by a comet (possibly as above) that will allow the third Antichrist to disperse his troops around the globe under the guise of aid in preparation for a possible nuclear war, although in the strictest sense it is unspecific as to nuclear war or some other natural or man caused destruction.
The book The Orion Prophecy claims that the Earth’s magnetic field will reverse.
The 2005 book Beyond 2012: Catastrophe or Ecstasy by Geoff Stray reviews several theories, prophecies and predictions concerning 2012 and finds where authors have used faulty information or have bent the truth to fit their theories.
The 2006 book 2012: The Return of Quetzalcoatl by Daniel Pinchbeck discusses theories of a possible global awakening to psychic connection by the year 2012, creating a noosphere.
The 2007 book Apocalypse 2012: A Scientific Investigation into Civilization’s End by Lawrence Joseph does not make any specific new predictions, but it reviews a number of 2012 predictions made by various sources, and presents arguments for the possible existence of dangerous positive feedback loops involving solar storms, Earth’s magnetic field, cosmic rays, hurricanes, global warming, earthquakes, and supervolcanoes that may be on the verge of erupting.

Terence McKenna’s mathematical novelty theory suggests a point of singularity in which humankind will go through a great shift in consciousness.
Some proponents of a peak oil catastrophe place major events in 2012. Richard C. Duncan’s book The Peak of World Oil Production and the Road To The Olduvai Gorge claims that the Olduvai cliff will begin and permanent blackouts will occur worldwide. Some alien-enthusiasts (e.g. Riley Martin), along with some new-agers, believe 2012 to correspond approximately with the return of alien “watchers” or “caretakers” who might have helped the first human civilizations with developing their technology and may have been waiting for us to reach a higher level of technological and/or social advancement. Beliefs range from the extra-terrestrials having benevolent purposes — such as to help human society evolve — to malevolent purposes — such as enslavement of mankind and/or manipulation.
