Obama, First Black President of the Usa! is it Really so Shocking?
It happened last year, during the month of December in the city of Warsaw, Poland which has been my adopted home town since 1994 and though the precise day escapes my memory the conversation never will. I had just been introduced to a well known stage actor from Congo in Poland by the name of Christian Emany, who though perhaps not a household name in most countries is not a complete unknown as far as the theatre stages of Warsaw are concerned. He after all has been in many a play with some of Poland

Barack Obama Does not “Cave” to Republicans Or Democrats
Barack Obama Does not “Cave” to Republicans Or Democrats
Barack Obama has shown once again to be the “outsider” pundits said it would take to get something done in Washington. He is not a politician’s politician by any stretch and stands in contrast to Capitol Hill game players, irrespective of party affiliation or race.
Why then should anyone expect the most productive American president to date to cave to either party, much less the democrat’s threat of not ratifying his deal?
Obama set the tone of his administration with his very first act as president by signing the Ledbetter Bill that gave women equal pay in the workplace. That was followed by Healthcare Reform and The Patient’s Bill of Rights which was 75 years in the making. The GOP said he was trying to do too much too soon. Still he pushed through Wall Street Reform, the Recovery Act, Consumer Protection Act, and created the Consumer Financial Protection Agency, as well as the Omnibus Bill to provide training, funding, and counseling for caregivers for Iraq and Afghan veterans, and promoted pilot childcare programs for women veterans under treatment at the VA. He also ended the Bush-era “black-out” imposed on media coverage of the return of fallen US soldiers.
President Obama made a promise to the American people that he would end the Bush tax cuts for the super rich, make middle class tax cuts permanent, extend unemployment compensation for 2 million laid off workers about to lose their emergency assistance in the middle of the holiday season, create jobs and improve the economy.
Washington Democrats have in the past shown themselves to be such losers that, even when they have a winning hand, they find a way to blow it. At the midterm elections, they didn’t bother to campaign on their own accomplishments made during the first two years of the Obama administration. As a result, they paid a heavier price during the elections than was expected.
How could they be expected to come up with a strategy other than to kick the Bush tax-break can farther down the preverbal road to the final day of the year? Were they attempting to “shame” the GOP into resolving tax breaks in their favor before the clock struck midnight December 31? (Did they seriously think they could shame the party that voted “no” to an increase of senior citizens cost of living, and “no” to a measure to help 911 first responders who had fallen ill as a result of their gallant rescue attempts?)
In stead of offering one excuse after another, why didn’t Democrats bring the tax bill to the floor? Why didn’t they force Republicans to work through their Thanksgiving recess to get it done before the end of the year? What made them believe they could actually embarrass the GOP who had made book on Obama’s failure? How long was the president suppose to wait before striking his deal?
With respect to the Bush-era tax cuts and extension of unemployment benefits, there is little doubt that Democrats wanted the same results as did the president. Unlike Obama, however, they showed more concern for denying tax breaks for the top 2% than extending benefits for the unemployed.
So that he may keep his promise to the American people, Obama struck a compromise with the GOP. What he received was more important than what he gave up. For working class Americans, he got an extension of the tax break and unemployment insurance. He also successfully negotiated a tax break for college students and small businesses.
If it can be said that Obama “caved” to the GOP, so be it, because what he gained can be expected to lead to the creation of a million of jobs in 2011. However, had he caved to the Democrats, the president would have gotten nothing.

I say – therefore I am. Part 1
I say – therefore I am. Part 1
A few days ago I went through a traumatic experience: a well-known Web site Politico reported as a sensational news that the White House began preparing for the election campaign in 2012.
Do you think the Obama campaign ever stop their activities? Did the chief presidential adviser David Axelrod did not – the same David Axelrod, who worked all his life only one thing: leadership election campaign and to mobilize public opinion in support of their candidates through various ploys are not always kosher properties? It seemed that, having won the election in November 2008, Obama continues to run for president without showing the slightest sign of understanding that it is time to shift gears and begin to edit.
However, let me say a word in defense of our unfortunate president who was, and so mercilessly castigate at all angles. The only thing that knows and loves Barack Obama – is to political campaigns, run for elected office. This is his element, otherwise he can not.
People in the vast majority are not designed to do many things simultaneously. As a rule, especially in our age of specialization, we are able to do only one thing (and far from all this goes well). Of course, it is easy to remember the names of historical figures, amazed contemporaries and descendants of its universal talent: Julius Caesar, Napoleon, Thomas Jefferson, Benjamin Franklin … But they and their like – a handful, they are an exception to the general rule.
Barack Obama is not among them. He – the singer of one note, all his life he did only one thing: talking and talking, endlessly talking. He spoke in hypostasis street agitator, the mobilization of black on the implementation of its “legitimate claims” (“take away and divide!”) Said as a teacher of law, spoke as a “mild and gentle,” a member of the Senate in Illinois, said as a member of the U.S. Senate; said, not stopping at the election trail. So is it any wonder that the White House, he continues to do what is inherent to the nature, the only thing that he turns out – to talk about?
Whatever happens, the reaction of Barack Obama’s clear: a new language or a few speeches (or even several dozens of speeches, as in the case of the pearl of his political agenda – health care reform). And if the American people refuse to bite on the bait, the president and it never occurs that maybe people do not like the product, which he imposed on them. No, he is convinced that the product-all in order and that is just how to explain to people all the details of the reform, they will be crazy about her, but the packaging let us down. And instead of heeding the voice of the people, he convinces himself that one more question, what the strength of the two – and all right, the voters realize what a wonderful reform, which is eager to bestow benefits upon the president, and soon everything will be fine.
Rarely a despot in a position for a long time to keep a sober mind, primarily because he surrounds himself with court flatterers, that a solid wall fence off the throne from reality and diligently strengthen their master at a higher opinion of his person. Unable to resist the temptation of power and our president, especially given its apparent natural tendency to megalomania. Washington Post reporter Dana Milbenk recently reported that Obama’s inner circle consists of people who believe or pretend to be skillfully that they consider him a messiah (Milbenk makes an exception only for the Chief of Administration of the White House Rham Emanuel, at the request of which, apparently, and wrote an article ). And now, having heard plenty of compliments and enthusiasm about his incomparable eloquence, president saddles faithful teleprompter – and forward to the rhetorical feats!
It would seem, Massachusetts catastrophe had sobered him. For call what happened in Massachusetts, except as a catastrophe, it is impossible. To this naigolubeyshem of all the blue (ie, liberal) states, where the Republican Party still existed purely nominally, was elected as a Republican Senator Scott Brown, is equivalent to a political earthquake. And considering also that Scott Brown took the position that a half-century was the inalienable property of the legendary Kennedy dynasty, and even to the same publicly promised to block obamovskuyu attack – this is, sorry, just a scandal. If the liberal program of actual nationalization of health through unimaginable deficits had not like the voters’ Democratic People’s Republic of Massachusetts “as they call this state, then, may I ask what her chances in other, less frantically left parts of the country?

How Sandy Berger Stole State Secrets, Destroyed Evidence & Got Off
http://www.townhall.com/columnists/JoelMowbray/2007/01/09/how_sandy_berger_stole_state_secrets,_destroyed_evidence__got_off
Berger claimed in court last year that smuggling classified documents out of the National Archives was about “personal convenience,” but the inspector general report states that he walked out of the building and down the street, found a construction site, looked to see if the coast was clear, then slid behind a fence and hid the documents under a trailer.
Which part of elaborate procedure was “convenient”?
According to the New York Times story last April following Berger’s guilty plea, “Associates attributed the episode to fatigue and poor judgment.” While lying to authorities is poor judgment, it is also illegal. And how exactly did fatigue drive Berger to use his scissors to shr
